2. Protection From the Elements

Our innovative Roof Coating protects your roof from the elements, making it completely watertight. Homecoat Nationwide also prevents damp and leaking roofs caused by adverse weather conditions.

3. Reduced Energy Costs

Up to 25% of heat can be lost through your roof if it is not adequately protected. Our roof coating acts as a barrier that deflects heat back into your property, reducing energy bills and retaining precious heat during those chilly winter months. Installing our Roof Coating provides almost 70% of the thermal value gained from loft insulation! During the summer months excess heat can also be a big a problem, particularly in an increasingly warm climate. A Homecoat Roof Coating deflects the suns rays, keeping your roof and home remarkably cool and the cost of air conditioning extremely low.

4. Increased Lifespan of Your Roof

Our quality Roof Coating will extend the life of your roof and protect roof tiles, ultimately saving you money. If you are considering selling your property, don’t spend a small fortune on a brand new roof when our quality Roof Coating will ensure that your property passes its survey with flying colours!

5. Increased Property Value

Roof Coating instantly improves kerb appeal and can add the equivalent of a brand new roof to the value of your home.

Assessment & Quotation

The first step to your new Roof Coating is for one of our fully trained and highly qualified consultants to visit you in your own home, to conduct a thorough roof inspection. They will assess the current condition of your roof and check for signs of corrosion, damage to tiles and cement mortar, slipped flashing and any other issues. Homecoat Nationwide is proud of our team of friendly and efficient consultants who are happy to answer all your questions. It is our mission to leave you with practical advice and a free no-obligation quote, without resorting to hard sell tactics or putting you under any pressure.

Technical Inspection & Preparation

Before beginning your Roof Cleaning and Coating, a team of experienced fitters and qualified technical engineers will conduct an on-site risk assessment to prepare your home for the service. We rigorously comply to all HSE legislation and take extreme care to protect driveways, conservatories, patios, decking, solar panels and any other exposed areas including plants.
All gutters and downpipes are capped or disconnected to prevent blocked drains and any nearby vehicles are removed to avoid spray damage.

Wash Down & Cleanse

Next, roof tiles are treated to a high pressure water jet that not only removes moss, but all traces of algae lichen, pollutants and carbonation too. The gutters are thoroughly cleaned both internally and externally to remove any silt or other build up, taking great care to prevent blockage of any downpipes.

Repair, Renovate Repoint & Plaster

The next stage is to remove any worn out mortar between roof crests, ridge and hip tiles and replace with our high performance fiber reinforced polymer mortar, before re-bedding loose ridges and crests. Broken or cracked tiles are replaced with similar or matching tiles and any damaged mortar verges are re-sealed.

Anti-Fungicide Wash Application

All surfaces are injected with a bio degradable detergent for complete moss removal. This also prevents your roof from future moss or lichens and ensures that your new coating remains in perfect condition.

Thermal Barrier & 1st Coating

Our innovative and environmentally friendly Homecoat Nationwide Heat Saving coat is then applied to all treated areas and by hand to edges and verges, to restore micro-porosity to weathered tiles. This ground breaking product forms a thermal barrier that is equivalent to almost 70% of the thermal value of loft insulation.

Water Repellant Barrier & 2nd Coating

Lastly, cutting edge airless spray equipment is used to apply the final coat in your chosen colour.
This completely reseals your roof and forms a water barrier that will repel any water from the roof tiles, whilst still allowing your roof to breath.

Clean Up

Before your new roof coating is ready for inspection, all guttering, soffits, facias, driveway attached flat roofs and conservatories are thoroughly washed down.
Our experienced roofers take care to remove any debris, bags of moss or other rubbish that has been collected during the process.
We want to ensure that your new Roof Coating meets all your expectations, so before leaving your premises our senior installation engineer will perform a rigorous Quality Control check for your complete peace of mind.
